Wordless Wednesday
I just realized it's Wednesday (yes, I realize it's been that way all day) so no Wordless Wednesday photo. Someone remind me next week, ok? Thanks a million!

Phew! I had an almost 2 hour meeting today regarding software for our Royal Family Kids Camp auction. Sounds like a great program! So if you're looking for awesome software, let me know and I'll tell you where it's from and if your non-profit uses the software, we get a credit.
After the meeting, I got taken to lunch! Woohoo, who can pass up a free lunch? ;)

I LOVE DISNEY! But hey, you already knew that, right? I'm really trying to be able to go down there next year for our 15th anniversary, since that is where we spent our honeymoon. Craig's even pretty much on board with the idea! Yay!
Anyway, I've known people who have stayed in places like Orlando villas. They are beautiful homes and cheaper than staying on Disney property. I am seriously going to look into this next year if we're able to go. Just look at that home! Over 4,000 sq. ft. of beauty. The price is so reasonable too! I think it would be a ton of fun to have friends come with us and split the cost.
Oh, don't forget to look at the Reunion Resort!! Isn't it beautiful? Golf courses, spa, hiking and biking trails and look at that pool and slide. I think I could spend days there swimming and just taking in all the recreation.
If you're going to Walt Disney World and looking for Disney vacation rentals, give Windsor Palms a look because I am! Simply beautiful properties!

Ay yi yi yi yi. Yesterday was a day. Worked job #2 until 4:00. I then had to run home, grab the packages that needed mailed and headed to the post office. They already had postage on them, but I had to stand in line. Get out of there, run to my boss' bank to deposit his check since he's out of town. Also ran to another bank to deposit the associate pastor's check since he's out of town. They appreciate it when I do it. Anyway, my eyes were glued to the clock on my stereo in the Jeep. I had to be home before 5, since I was working the other job today too. Phew! I made it home with about 3 minutes to spare. Ahhhhhhh
Fast forward to today at work....I ended up leaving early since they shouldn't have to pay me to sit there playing webkinz or pogo. Too bad my days couldn't have averaged out a bit. LOL

Ooooh, I'm so excited! The Nutcracker Ballet is coming to my town! The only showing in Oregon! Woohoo! Here's a little trivia for you....it's coming to the theater where I used to work. I worked there when it was a movie theater. We did have plays come through every great once in a while, but since it's not a movie theater anymore, it has totally been renovated and it is beautiful! Far cry from the dark dressing rooms under the stage with no working lights when I worked there!
My mom always takes the girls every year to the local production of the Nutcracker, but the one coming is being performed by the Moscow Ballet. It should be really good! I love the whole storyline. It's so magical. I'm always so impressed with the dancing, especially the children. I always wonder just how much practice those little ones put in. I don't know if I'd be that dedicated.
If you're looking for nutcracker tickets, look no further! I'm sure a show is coming to a town near you. Get your tickets now for the Christmas season. Believe it or not, Christmas is just four short months away.
I just noticed too, they're holding auditions for parts too. I'm going to have to check that out and see if Oldest Princess could audition for something. She's been dancing for 8 years and on toe for 2. She's bound to qualify for something!

Oh goodness, I finally did it! I spaced off one of my shifts at work tonight. I don't normally work on Friday nights, but I had an 8:30 shift. When I got home at 10:30 and looked at my computer, my little Outlook reminder reminded me to work at 8:30. LOL Ooooooooooops. But, that being said, there were no missed calls on my home phone or my cell. I emailed in and we'll have to see what they say.

Oh good grief! I'm watching my tape of Big Brother 8 and Dick is an ass! I know he's doing it on purpose, but geesh! I'd most definitely vote him out, just as he wanted!

Both the Princesses are in dance classes, and they have been for years. The hardest thing is that they go through tights all the time! Every time I look, one or the other has a big run running down their legs or a gigantic hole. They don't seem to mind, but I certainly do!
I've been getting the cheaper tights at a local department store. I imagine that's part of my problem, right there. In looking for dance tights, I'm thinking of getting a brand name pair of tights and see how they hold up. Capezio is a name that is easily associated with dance. I may get the Princesses a pair of Capezio tights. Hopefully, they'll hold up better and they're not really that much more expensive than the ones I've been buying.
I'm so happy to see that they carry toe shoes too. Oldest Princess keeps growing and now she'll need another new pair of toe shoes and pads. They carry the same brand she has, so I know they'll work. I'll just have to get a bigger size.
Oh, I need to tell my sister that JustforKix.com also has cheer tights, shoes and accessories. My niece is really into the competitive cheering and could definitely use some new tights, etc.

Ok, so today I cleaned younger Princess' room. Every time she'd go in there, she'd get flea bites. Makes total sense, the cat loves her room for some reason. We try to keep the door shut, but sometimes it just happens. Princess had left her bottom drawer of her dresser open, so what did I find in there this morning? Yep, Sweet Pea, staring up innocently at me. I feel sorry for the cat, but since she's gotten the flea medicine, she should feel better soon.
Next time we go to Vegas, which I hope will be fairly soon, I so want to stay at the MGM Grand. I want to check out the Las Vegas nightlife and I can do it all at the MGM. They have big-name concerts and I love the location on the strip. One time when we were in Vegas, we walked through MGM and it just amazed me they have the live lion habitat in there. I must have watched them for what seemed like hours. From pictures I've seen, I think they have the neatest swimming area. They have a "river" where you can grab an innertube and just float along. Sounds like an awesome vacation to me!

We've watched the show Little People, Big World for quite a while now. It's especially neat to watch the show and see the stores or malls they go to and know that we've probably been there. I was very disappointed to see that the dad, Matt Roloff, was arrested for drunk driving. It'll be interesting to see just how they deal with that on the show. I'm a big advocate for designated drivers.

Are you looking for some new art for your home? If so, check out Park West Gallery, you won't be disappointed. They have so many different styles to choose from.
I'm loving the bright colors artist Jean-Claude Picot uses in his artworks. The artwork is so calming. Just by looking at some of his art, I can feel the sea breeze gently blowing through the window moving the curtains with the smell of the sea drifting in.
They also have some animation art. I'm loving looking at the ones from Disney movies. They even have art from Scooby-Doo, Popeye, Betty Boop and more! There's one of Betty Boop dressed as Cinderella! It's cute!

UGH! Our cat, Sweet Pea, has fleas! Now we all have fleas. Of course, I've been telling a certain someone (I don't deal with the cat if I can help it. This was known up front before the cat came into the home) that she needs the flea stuff; she's been scratching an awful lot. I keep getting told that she's got dry skin. Guess who found fleas???? UGH!
My ultimate goal in life is to become a stay-at-home mom. My one job is working from home, but the second isn't. I would love to be able to work from home only. On Eve's Home Business Blog, she has it all mapped out on how to run a business from the comforts of your home. I love seeing all this information in one place! Check out the "Articles" tabs, she has sections on time management, earning money from your blog and more.
Eve also has another blog that is called Confessions of a Housewife. I really need to follow her suggestions, especially this post. I'm going to have to give it a try!

My buddy Cyndi got me the Princess' hooked on Webkinz so I perused Ebay and found a good deal on the pink pony for Youngest Princess. The seller also had the white terrier dog, and I didn't want Oldest Princess to feel left out, so I got it as well. Glad I did. They came in the mail today and both Princesses (& mom) are having a ball with them tonight.
