Funny Story

Sometime before Christmas, as I came home from work, I realized that my inflatable Mickey in my yard was gone. I had sworn it was there when I left. Anyway, I was heartbroken, but not as bad as I could have been. See, a few days before, I had unplugged him waiting for him to dry out so I could try to patch the hole that had appeared in his arm. I found it kind of amusing that someone stole him and then when they went to plug him in, he'd have this big hole.

Fast forward to last night....a lady down the street stopped by and said that some kids had invited themselves over to a party her kids were having. She found later that the Mickey was at the party too. She realized it was ours when she didn't see it in our yard anymore because she said she liked our decorations and always noticed them. Long story short, her kids couldn't get these kids to leave and come to find out this lady found them living in her attic!!! Anyway, her kids were afraid to bring Mickey back because they thought that we'd think they were the ones who stole him. Craig just told her to go ahead and throw it away since he had a gaping hole anyway. I hope to find another next year.
