We've known all along that Oldest Princess is a smarty pants. She's always made us proud with her schooling. Straight A's all through middle school so far.

Today, Youngest Princess came home with her homework. Then she says, "I went to another room for my reading group." I then pumped some more info out of her. She doesn't know what grade, but my suspicion is that it's 2nd grade. The first grade homework she brought home had spelling words like it, sit, did, six, fix, etc. She knew all those the first time through. She also brought home another paper that had a story on it about pet rabbits from her reading group. It's definitely not "it, sit, did" material. It's real words. LOL Since Craig is taking her to school tomorrow, he's going to go in and talk to Ms. V and find out where exactly she is in her reading.

Yay, the new TV shows are starting! Seems though, that our DVR has something wrong and will only record one show instead of the 2 it normally does. ACK!! I've been checking online to see if the shows I like are shown online.

Good grief, I think Cyndi put it best...'Just call me Garfield' I hate Mondays.

I am exhausted. I think I got about 3.5 hours of good sleep last night. I was snoozing well until Oldest Princess came in and said she had a fever and a sinus infection (alrighty, she's already a doctor! Woot! No college expenses here then!) I felt her and she didn't feel hot to me at all. I told her to get a Tylenol and get back to bed. Youngest Princess gets up and asks to go to the bathroom. Yes, please do! She then comes in and says, "I can't sleep." Get her back to bed and I lay there. I toss and turn. Then at some point I finally get back to sleep. Yay! Then the cat decides that as he's lying on our bed that it would be a great time to scratch that itch on his neck. And scratch. And scratch. I kick him off the bed. Then at 5, Oldest Princess gets up and realizes its cold in here and checks and yep, someone (who will remain unnamed for HIS own good) left the garage door open. She comes and tells me, so said unnamed someone gets up and goes and looks. Thank goodness it seems everything is there. Meanwhile, Youngest Princess comes and crawls in bed with me. Unnamed person comes back to bed and goes to shut the door thinking he's gonna get a little sumpin' sumpin'. Ha, joke's on him cause I tell him that Youngest is here. HA! So I finally nod back off and he says, "Do you smell something burning?" ARGH! Don't know what it was, but I finally just got up and here I am. (/whine)

Seriously, when I grow up, I want to be able to write like Heidi. Go check her out, she's witty, funny and a great momma. So, this is what I shall strive for. Ha!

Edited: See, this is my first example of why I'm not a very good writer..I got to thinking to myself, "Self....are witty and funny redundant?" I had to go look it up on dictionary.com. Yes, another word for witty is funny. Sheesh, it's late, I'm blonde. Deal. ;)
