Happy Birthday, Uncle Pat
You probably won't read this, but Happy Birthday, anyway!!!

I started the day off by cleaning youngest Princess's room. She couldn't find her scissors, you know, one of the 834 that she has. Didn't find them, but at least her room is cleaned now. We went to Target and got her soccer cleats and shin guards, oh, and picked up a pair of scissors ;) From there, we came home and I went through her drawers and cleaned them out and started organizing my mountain of clean laundry. Got all of her uniform clothes in one spot and went through them weeding out the ones that were too small. I ended up putting them all in one drawer, but since I did that, her pants don't fit in the dresser, so they'll have to go in her wire cubby. Anyway, got her clothes all organized and put away and got her to bed. I then ironed her clothes for tomorrow and then sat down and put her name on every single crayon, every pencil and every marker & lid. Hopefully she won't lose anything. ;) Oh yeah, somewhere in the middle of all that, I mowed the lawn so that if we're able to do pictures out there tomorrow (it's supposed to rain), the grass won't be looking like a jungle in the background.
During all this, Oldest Princess was cleaning up her room and organizing her closet. Craig hung a new rod in there so she has more room for hanging things. I need to go back to work tomorrow just to rest. hehehe
So anyway......let school begin!
Ha! We just might be insane! We're thinking of venturing up to the new Ikea today. It's the first in our area and it's been a zoo up there, I guess. We can't afford anything right now, but it will be fun to just browse around and see what they've got. Ohhhhh, and I've heard we need the meatballs. LOL
Ok, so today I cleaned younger Princess' room. Every time she'd go in there, she'd get flea bites. Makes total sense, the cat loves her room for some reason. We try to keep the door shut, but sometimes it just happens. Princess had left her bottom drawer of her dresser open, so what did I find in there this morning? Yep, Sweet Pea, staring up innocently at me. I feel sorry for the cat, but since she's gotten the flea medicine, she should feel better soon.
UGH! Our cat, Sweet Pea, has fleas! Now we all have fleas. Of course, I've been telling a certain someone (I don't deal with the cat if I can help it. This was known up front before the cat came into the home) that she needs the flea stuff; she's been scratching an awful lot. I keep getting told that she's got dry skin. Guess who found fleas???? UGH!
Today is my dad's birthday. We all called him at work this morning and sang happy birthday. He seemed to enjoy that. LOL Both Craig and I are coming up blank with ideas on what to get him. ARGH! It can't really be that hard, can it?

We had a fabulous time at the coast yesterday with Kim and family. She fixed us a great lunch and then we went swimming.
Early this morning about 1:30, I got woken up by what every mother dreads hearing...."Mommy, I feel like I'm going to throw up!" UGH! And in my half-asleep stupor, I now remember trying to talk her out of it. LOL Poor little Princess did get sick a couple times, but now seems to be doing great. Phew!
My cousin is pregnant with her second girl. I'm so excited! Her first daughter is just a doll! She just turned two in April and already talks so well. She calls us Auntie Kelli and Uncle Craig. I think she's going to love being a big sister! I'm sure someone will throw her a shower. If not, I may consider doing it!
Looking at baby shower decorating themes is fun! I know what I'd like, I'd like the Pooh's Playful Baby Shower Theme, but since my cousin's husband is Hawaiian, I'd go with something like the Bahama Breeze Baby Shower, which would also work great if I was throwing a luau birthday party. I love the little "Hawaiian shirt" invitations. Aren't those clever? I also think the Red Wagon theme would be great if we didn't know if it was a boy or girl. I just love that little red wagon!

Youngest Princess fell asleep on the couch tonight at about 7:30. She's been squirming around a bit, so she's getting uncomfortable. I guess I should carry her to the bathroom and get her to bed. She's been so tired lately with swimming lessons and all, plus I think she's hitting a growth spurt.
She had to come to my office today and then come with me to run some errands for work. She was a perfect little princess and we had a good time. I love days like that!
We're thinking of taking the Princesses to the drive-in tomorrow night. They're showing Ratatouille and Pirates of the Caribbean. I haven't seen the first two Pirates, but I'd probably fall asleep before it came on anyway. LOL

We had a great weekend! It started on Friday when we went to my aunt and uncle's house to swim with my cousin and her little girl. It rained on us, but we didn't care because we were already wet. LOL We had pizza and visited and then came on home. Saturday, we putzed around and got our quads ready. Sunday, we left early and went to the coast to go quadding. We had a blast! The weather was great and the princesses did a great job riding.

We had a fantastic weekend. I have pictures (did you have any doubts? hehehe) and will share a few later. We did do some more biking at the same place as this pic. But, now that I think about it, I'm not sure I got any of us like that pic. Oh wait, while on that bikeride, we went by some stables where Youngest Princess got to go on a pony ride. Made her day. So I did get some pics there. We had great weather for the most part. Sunday and Monday got a little cooler because of the wind, but overall, it was a gorgeous weekend.
My wonderful hubby is such a great daddy.
Right this very minute, he's sitting on the floor with Youngest Princess playing My Little Pony Memory.
I love that man!!

My niece is in here somewhere. I didn't find her till the very end and it looks like she's picking her seat. LOL Congrats to the Fame PeeWees! I guess they're world's best champions or something. I don't really understand it at all. We don't have cheerleading around here like that. The amount of money my sister dumps into it is astronomical! Plus I hate that they make these babies wear gaudy makeup! There. I said it. My sister will never respond when I write and ask about the makeup. This cheerleading group starts at 3 years old (me niece is 7) and they have to wear all this makeup. Insane! So if someone reads this who's involved in cheerleading somehow, please explain this to me! I also have a problem with the hoochie momma costumes, but I'll save that for another day. ;)
